State Cross Country @ National Trail Raceway

Aaran Gessic of Perry finished his career with Perry XC getting 31st in the Division 2 State Cross Country Meet. For the team title, Defiance won, with Chagrin Falls getting 3rd in the state. Led by Bistritz who got 2nd overall, Chagrin was a team that didn't even make it out of regionals last year, but turned the tide this year and placed the same as they did at regionals. The Gilmour Academy girls were runners-up and the Lancer boys were 5th place. Boardman's Mark Hadley took the individual D1 boys title as well. Congrats to all the Northeast Ohio runners participating today including runners from Chardon, Lakeside, Madison, Perry, Chagrin Falls, Independence, Berkshire and Mentor. Congrats everyone on a good season.
