Doubles Final Set, All-Buckeye Singles Final Possible

Top seeds in the doubles, Tim Kopinski and Ross Guignon from Illinois got taken out by the 4 seeds from Notre Dame, Alex Lawson and Greg Andrews 8-7. In the finals, the Fightin' Irish will take on the 2 seeds from Ohio State Peter Kobelt and Kevin Metka after they took out the DePaul team of Dzanko and Vierya 8-3.

Kobelt and Andrews will also take place in the singles semifinals tomorrow after winning in today's quarterfinals. As the top 2 seeds advanced, the other two quarterfinals produced interesting results. An all-Ohio State matchup featuring Chris Diaz and Hunter Callahan was completed, as Callahan blew by Diaz although Diaz played a higher position on the team last year (as was seeded higher). The same thing came out of the all-Illinois matchup as Farris Gosea also blew by higher ranked teammate Tim Kopinski. Kobelt will play Gosea and Andrews will play Callahan on Monday, with the potential for there to be an all-OSU final for singles.
